On Monday, Dan Harmon the creator of "Community" offered the most concrete update yet on the project.
"There is an outline for it. There's a product put together and pitched out in the world. I guess that's how real it is."

Since 2015, following the end of the show's sixth and final season, fans have been longing for a movie, which has been hinted at for more than eight years.
Harmon explains that the industry can be slow, and doesn't want to psychological torture fans with "Yes, it's definitely going to happen, but it may be between one and eight years from now."
Although the movie is yet to be greenlit, Harmon is confident that the "Community" movies is a "matter of when," not "if."
