Warner Bros. has cancelled "Batgirl," it will not premiere on any studio platform, neither in theaters nor on HBO Max.
In 2021, the film was greenlit, starring Leslie Grace as Barbara Gordon (aka Batgirl) and directed by filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah.
The show was planed for HBO Max, however Warner Bros. has since pivoted back to theatrical features, leaving "Batgirl" in an awkward position.
The initial $75 million production budget, increased to $90 million due to COVID-related delays and protocols.
A sequel to the 2020 movie "Scoob!" called "Scoob! : Holiday Haunt" has also been cancelled by the studio.
