Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has fired two top officials due to alleged treason and collaboration with Russia.
The two officials dismissed are Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova and State Security Service (SBU) head Ivan Bakanov.
The President said that 651 cases of suspected treason and collaboration have been filed against prosecutors and law enforcement officials.
Allegedly more than 60 officials from Bakanov and Venediktova's agencies are now working against Ukraine in Russian-occupied territories.
The former head of the Main Directorate of the Security Service in Crimea has also been taken into custody on suspicion of treason.
