Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called the US Supreme Court's decision to overturn the right to abortion "horrific".
Trudeau hinted that his nation will continue to permit Americans to have abortions in Canada.
However, he offered no specific measures to increase abortion availability.
"Women for generations have fought for more rights in the United States, (only) to see this setback, to worry as well about how this can be expanded to more rights be taken away in the United States,"

The challenge will be affording it. Those in need of an abortion must still be able to cover the price of the journey as well as the operation itself.
A passport and vaccination record are also necessary in order to travel to Canada.
