Wikipedia has filed an appeal against Moscow court's order that it remove any information related to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
A Moscow court fined the Wikimedia Foundation 5 million roubles ($88,000) for refusing to remove disinformation of the Russian-Ukraine war.
The Wikipedia articles in question are "The Russian Invasion of Ukraine", "War Crimes during the Russian Invasion of Ukraine" and "Massacre in Bucha".
On June 6, Wikipedia filed an appeal arguing that removing information is a violation of human rights.
Wikipedia says it offers "the second draft of history".
