US Congress Releases Trump’s Alleged Birthday Note to Epstein

  • Democrats on the U.S. House Oversight Committee made public a 2003 birthday note allegedly from Donald Trump to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
  • The note reportedly reads, “A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret,” and is accompanied by a crude sketch of a naked woman. The note appears to bear Trump’s signature.
  • The White House and Trump’s legal team deny the authenticity of the letter and drawing, calling the report “false, malicious, and defamatory” and filing a $10 billion lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal.
  • The letter was part of a 50th birthday album for Epstein, including messages from other prominent figures such as former U.S. President Bill Clinton and attorney Alan Dershowitz.
