Israeli Strikes Kill 46 People in Gaza, 33 People in Lebanon, Medics Say

Israeli airstrikes on Tuesday caused significant casualties, killing at least 46 people in Gaza and 33 people in Lebanon, AP News reports.

Israeli airstrikes in Gaza hit a makeshift cafeteria in an Israeli-declared humanitarian zone, killing 11 people, a house in Beit Hanoun, killing 15 people, including relatives of an Al Jazeera journalist. Further attacks across central and southern Gaza, killed 20 more, with many civilians among the victims.

Israeli airstrikes targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut in Lebanon, killing 33 people. An apartment building in Beirut was struck, killing at least six people, including three children. Another attack in central Lebanon killed 15 people, including eight women and four children, and injured 12 others.

Meanwhile, a rocket attack against the Israeli town of Nahariya, killed two people, and a Hezbollah drone hit a nursery school near Haifa, though no injuries were reported as children sheltered.
