Harris expressed regret over the deaths of women linked to individuals who were released after crossing into the US illegally but criticized former US President Donald Trump for blocking a bipartisan immigration bill. Harris also stated that she no longer supports decriminalizing illegal border crossings, a position she held in 2019.
Throughout the interview, Harris portrayed Trump as unstable and divisive, urging voters to focus on his rhetoric. She defended Biden’s mental stamina after a poor debate performance but reiterated that Trump, not Biden, is on the ballot in 2024.
