US President Joe Biden discussed with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to increase security assistance to Ukraine and announced a new $425 million military aid package, Reuters reports.
This package includes air defense systems, air-to-ground munitions, armored vehicles, and critical munitions. Zelensky expressed gratitude to Biden, Congress, and the American people for their support, and discussed Kyiv’s five-point “victory plan” presented to the Ukrainian parliament. He proposed exploring joint weapons production and emphasized the need for additional training for Ukrainian soldiers.
