The strike, which occurred in the Nuseirat refugee camp, also injured seven others, including two women and a child in critical condition. The Israeli military continues its offensive against Hamas in Gaza, particularly in Jabaliya, and has ordered the evacuation of northern Gaza, where approximately 400,000 people remain. The ongoing conflict has reportedly led to over 42,000 Palestinian deaths since the war began following a Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.
Meanwhile, Israeli operations in southern Lebanon have intensified against Hezbollah, leading to further casualties, including at least 2,255 people in Lebanon since the conflict escalated. Israel is also expected to strike Iran in retaliation for a missile attack but has not specified how or when.
