Meta’s AI Chatbot to Feature Celebrity Voices, Including Judi Dench and John Cena

Meta Platforms is set to announce new audio features for its AI chatbot at its annual Connect conference on Wednesday, Reuters reports.

The company has secured agreements with celebrities such as Judi Dench, Kristen Bell, John Cena, Awkwafina, and Keegan-Michael Key to provide voices for the chatbot. Users will have the option to choose from five celebrity voices, along with several generic voice options. The feature will roll out in the US and English-speaking markets across Meta’s apps like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

Additionally, Meta plans to unveil the first version of its augmented-reality glasses at the conference and discuss its hardware roadmap, including the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, which previously integrated an audio version of the AI chatbot.
