Trump reiterated his unsubstantiated claims of election fraud from 2020, vowing to prosecute those involved if he wins, at a rally in Wisconsin. His campaign has urged him to focus on policy issues like inflation, but Trump has instead emphasized past grievances, including sexual misconduct allegations and legal challenges. He repeated plans to create a Government Efficiency Commission led by Elon Musk and vowed to “drain the swamp.” He also criticized the Justice Department and vowed to pardon individuals imprisoned for their roles in the January 6 Capitol riot.
Meanwhile, Harris, who was recently endorsed by former Vice President Dick Cheney and former Congresswoman Liz Cheney, spoke about uniting the country and countering divisiveness. Both candidates have actively been campaigning in Wisconsin, a key battleground state.
