The Harris campaign refuted Trump’s claim, stating that the photo showing a 15,000-person crowd was genuine and shared a matching Getty Images photo. They also highlighted Harris’ active campaign schedule, with her campaigning across seven battleground states, compared to Trump’s less active campaign schedule. This false accusation comes amid an election marked by significant advances in AI, which have made it easier to spread misinformation.
Additionally, Trump criticized Harris for allegedly copying his proposal to eliminate taxes on tips, a promise he also made at a Las Vegas rally in June. The allegations highlight a growing frustration with the Harris campaign’s momentum, which has seen a surge in donations and large crowds at her rallies.
