Trump expressed interest for additional debates on September 4 and 25 to be aired on Fox and NBC. Harris, who replaced President Joe Biden as the Democratic candidate three weeks ago, confirmed her participation in the September 10 debate but rejected the September 4 debate on Fox, emphasizing future debates depend on Trump’s participation on September 10.
Harris recently selected Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate, and the pair have been actively campaigning in key battleground states. Trump criticized Harris and Walz, claiming they are weak candidates and lamented not being able to run against Biden, who withdrew from the race following a poor debate performance.
