Israel Rescues Four Hostages from Gaza, 210 Palestinians Reportedly Killed

Israel has rescued four hostages from central Gaza in a major air and ground operation, which resulted in the deaths of at least 210 Palestinians, including women and children, Associated Press reports.

The rescued hostages included Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir Jan (21), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (40), who had been held for 246 days. The rescue operation involved simultaneous raids of two locations in Nuseirat, under heavy fire, with the freed hostages taken for medical checks before being reunited with their families.

The assault resulted in significant Palestinian casualties, with 210 reported dead, including women and children, according to a Gaza Health Official. The Israeli military stated that they targeted threats to their forces and faced heavy resistance, including rocket-propelled grenades. The operation drew international condemnation from Egypt, Jordan, and the European Union.
