The Israeli military has recovered the bodies of three more hostages killed on October 7 from the Jabalia refugee camp, amid escalating tensions and fighting in Gaza, Associated Press reports.
The hostages identified as Hanan Yablonka, Michel Nisenbaum, and Orion Hernandez Radoux, has left families mourning and raised concerns about the safety of those still held captive. French President Emmanuel Macron extended condolences to the family of Radoux, a French-Mexican citizen among the victims. The families of the hostages are calling for their safe return, underscoring the urgency of finding a resolution to the conflict and bringing an end to the suffering endured by those affected.
Efforts to secure a cease-fire and negotiate the release of hostages continue, with CIA Director Bill Burns engaging in talks with Israeli and Qatari officials in Paris. However, negotiations have stalled over Hamas’ insistence on guarantees for the end of the conflict and a complete Israeli withdrawal from Gaza in exchange for the hostages’ release, a demand Israel rejects.
