Kevin Spacey Denies New Allegations of Inappropriate Behavior

Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey is facing new allegations of inappropriate behavior ahead of the release of a documentary featuring men who accuse him of misconduct on British television, Associated Press reports.

Spacey’s interview comes ahead of the release of the documentary “Spacey Unmasked,” set to air on May 6 and 7 on Channel 4 in Britain and stream on Max in the US. It reportedly features testimony from men regarding events between 1976 and 2013, according to Spacey.

In an online interview with journalist Dan Wootton, Spacey denied these allegations stating that he had never engaged in any illegal activities. He admitted to being flirtatious with men in their 20s and making “clumsy” advances at times. However, he denied using his influence to promise career advancements in exchange for sexual favors and said that any relationships he had with men were consensual.

Since the emergence of allegations against him in 2017, at the outset of the #MeToo movement, Spacey’s career has suffered significant setbacks. He lost his lead role as Frank Underwood in the Netflix drama “House of Cards” and has struggled to find work since then.
