Israeli Troops Kill 14 During Two-Day Raid in the West Bank

Israeli forces conducted a two-day raid in the occupied West Bank, resulting in the death of 14 Palestinians, Reuters reports.

The raid, which began on Friday and continued into Saturday, sparked exchanges of fire between Israeli forces and Palestinian fighters in the Nur Shams area near Tulkarm. Palestinian health authorities reported 14 casualties from the raid, including a 16-year-old boy and a gunman. Additionally, an ambulance driver was killed by Israeli gunfire near Nablus while trying to transport injured people from a separate attack. The Israeli military acknowledged the operation, stating that several militants were killed or apprehended while at least four soldiers sustained injuries during the exchange of fire.

Meanwhile, Israel continues to conduct airstrikes despite the withdrawal of most Israeli combat forces earlier in the month. A strike in Rafah claimed the lives of a family, including a pregnant woman, while another strike killed five individuals.
