Donald Trump has partnered with country music star Lee Greenwood, famous for the song “God Bless the USA,” to promote a line of expensive Bibles called the “God Bless the USA Bible,” CNBC reports.
Trump announced the business deal on Truth Social, expressing the belief that all Americans need a Bible in their homes. The Bible, priced at $59.99, includes additional features such as a handwritten chorus to Greenwood’s hit song, the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance. The Bible, endorsed by Trump and Greenwood, features a King James translation with Jesus’ words highlighted in red.
The financial details of the partnership remain unclear, but it comes amidst Trump’s turbulent financial situation, including significant civil judgments and fundraising challenges for his political campaigns. The website selling the Bibles specifies that proceeds will not go toward Trump’s political campaign but are licensed by CIC Ventures to use Trump’s name and likeness.
