The Israeli military revealed that it has targeted 34,000 locations in Lebanon and 50 locations in Syria linked to the Iranian-backed Hezbollah since the outbreak of the Gaza war on October 7, Reuters reports.
Israel’s Chief Military Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari claims the country has attacked 34,000 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, including surveillance outposts, missile caches, and command centers, resulting in over 200 enemy casualties. Hagari stated that Israeli forces would take action wherever Hezbollah is present in the Middle East.
Israel deployed three army divisions along its Lebanese border in anticipation of Hezbollah’s involvement following a cross-border attack by Palestinian Hamas on October 7 that led to the Gaza war.
