Israeli forces, disguised as civilian women and medical workers, conducted a raid on the Ibn Sina Hospital in the West Bank town of Jenin, killing three Palestinian militants, Associated Press reports.
The Israeli military claimed the militants were using the hospital as a hideout and alleged their involvement in transferring weapons for a planned attack inspired by the recent Hamas assault on southern Israel. Security camera footage circulating on social media showed undercover forces, armed and disguised as women or hospital staff, conducting the raid without encountering resistance.
The Palestinian Health Ministry condemned the raid and called on the international community to pressure Israel to cease such actions in hospitals. The raid raised concerns about violence spilling into the West Bank from the conflict in Gaza.
