Former US President Donald Trump asserted that undocumented immigrants were “poisoning the blood of our country,” during a campaign event in New Hampshire, Reuters reports.
Trump, addressing concerns about migrant crossings at the US-Mexico border, stated that immigrants from Asia, Africa, and South America were “pouring into our country.”
Trump, who has promised a crackdown on illegal immigration, made similar remarks in September that have been criticized as dangerous and reminiscent of Adolf Hitler’s rhetoric and drawing rebukes from the Anti-Defamation League.
