The fantasy RPG video game Baldur’s Gate 3 has won the Game of the Year award at the Game Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, BBC reports.
The Belgian developer Larian, behind the Dungeons and Dragons-based RPG, accepted six awards in total, including Best Performance, Best RPG, and Player’s Choice.
Other notable wins included Alan Wake 2 for best game direction, narrative, and art direction, The Last of Us TV series for best adaptation, and Cyberpunk 2077 for best ongoing game.
The event also featured new reveals, including the sci-fi RPG Exodus from Archetype Entertainment and a project called OD (Overdose) by Hideo Kojima and director Jordan Peele.
