Elon Musk visited Israel, touring a kibbutz attacked by Hamas militants and holding talks with Israeli leaders, including President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, AP News reports.
Herzog criticized Musk, who faced criticism for endorsing an antisemitic conspiracy theory on the social media platform X, over alleged antisemitic content on the platform. Some big brands, including Disney and IBM, have recently decided to stop advertising on the platform.
Musk, accompanied by Netanyahu, visited damaged homes and spoke with families affected by the conflict. Musk expressed concern about the scenes of the massacre and pledged to help stop the hate.
The visit also resolved a Starlink satellite internet spat between Musk and Israel, with Starlink agreeing to operate in Gaza only with government approval.
