Hamas has released another 17 hostages, including 14 Israelis and the first American, the third group of hostages released under the four-day ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, AP News reports.
The hostages range from 4 to 84 years old and include Abigail Edan, a 4-year-old Israeli-American girl whose parents were killed in the initial Hamas attack. Israel is set to release 39 Palestinian prisoners in return.
The deal, brokered by Qatar, Egypt, and the US, involves the release of 50 hostages and 150 Palestinian prisoners.
