Dockworkers in Sweden have expanded their strike, refusing to offload Tesla cars at any of the country’s ports in solidarity with Tesla workers’ demands for collective bargaining agreements, Reuters reports.
While Tesla does not manufacture in Sweden, its electric cars are serviced by over 120 mechanics affiliated with the Swedish union IF Metall, who initiated the strike on October 27.
Dockworkers later joined the strike on November 7, blocking Sweden’s four largest ports to Tesla cars. The blockade has now been expanded to affect all ports in Sweden on November 17.
