The Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza has been forced to bury 179 bodies, including seven babies and 29 intensive care patients, in a mass grave, France 24 reports.
Al-Shifa’s hospital director Mohammad Abu Salmiyah said that 179 bodies have been buried in a mass grave due to the lack of electricity for the morgues.
Israeli forces claim the hospital sits atop a Hamas command base, which the militants deny, leaving thousands of people stranded inside.
More than 11,240 people have been killed in Gaza, including thousands of children, according to the Health Ministry in Hamas-controlled Gaza.
