Trump Lawyer Jenna Ellis Pleads Guilty Over Efforts to Overturn Georgia’s Election

Prominent conservative media figure and attorney Jenna Ellis has pleaded guilty to a felony charge related to efforts to overturn Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss in Georgia, AP News reports.

She pleaded guilty to one felony count of aiding and abetting false statements and writings. Ellis will face five years of probation, pay $5,000 in restitution to Georgia, complete 100 hours of community service and submit an apology letter to the people of Georgia.

Ellis is the fourth defendant to enter into a plea deal with prosecutors after being charged alongside Trump and 17 others with violating Georgia’s anti-racketeering law.
