Hamas has released an American woman Judith Raanan and her teenage daughter Natalie who had been held hostage in Gaza, AP News reports.
Judith and Natalie Ranaan had traveled to Israel from their home in Chicago to celebrate Jewish holidays.
Hamas said it released them to the Israeli military for humanitarian reasons in an agreement with the Qatari government.
It marks the first such release among the 203 people abducted by the militant group on October 7th.
