Israel and Hamas have blamed each other for the deadly explosion at a hospital in Gaza that resulted in hundreds of casualties, AP News reports.
Hamas blames Israel for the deadly blast at the al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza, which killed at least 500 people, according to Hamas’s Health Ministry.
The Israeli military claimed Islamic Jihad, a smaller Palestinian militant group, was responsible for the hospital blast due to a rocket misfire.
Some 350 casualties from the blast had to be transported to Gaza City’s main hospital, al-Shifa, which was already overwhelmed with wounded from other strikes.
