France on High Alert After Louvre Museum and Versailles Palace Bomb Threats

The Louvre Museum and Versailles Palace in Paris were evacuated on Saturday due to bomb threats, AP News reports.

France is currently on high-security alert and has deployed 7,000 troops after a school stabbing by a suspected extremist on Friday.

The Louvre Museum and its underground shopping center were evacuated after receiving bomb threats and Paris police conducted a search.

The Versailles Palace also received bomb threats, and both the palace and its extensive gardens were evacuated as the police investigated the area.
