Ukraine’s Zelensky Visits US to Seek More Support

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Washington to seek continued US support for Ukraine’s ongoing conflict with Russia, AP News reports.

Zelensky reassured US lawmakers that Ukraine has a solid war plan and is making progress in the conflict.

US President Joe Biden has requested an additional $24 billion in aid for Ukraine’s military and humanitarian needs.

However, some congressional Republicans are opposing further funding for Ukraine.
