Poland has said it will no longer supply weapons to Ukraine amid an escalating dispute over agricultural exports, CNBC reports.
This comes after Ukraine took legal action against several countries, including Poland, over bans on Ukrainian grain and agricultural imports.
Poland’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that they are no longer transferring weapons to Ukraine and are instead arming Poland.
In an effort to soften Warsaw’s stance, a government official added that Poland is not currently supplying arms to Ukraine but “in the future we will see.”
Poland has previously donated weaponry, tanks, Soviet-era fighter jets and provided military training to Ukraine’s armed forces.
