British comedian and actor Russell Brand has been accused of rape, sexual assault and abuse, according to a joint investigation by three British news organizations, Al Jazeera reports.
Four women allege that sexual assault occurred between 2006 and 2013 when Brand was working for BBC Radio 2, Channel 4, and starring in Hollywood films.
Russell Brand denies the allegations, emphasizing that all his relationships during that period were consensual.
In a video posted on social media, Brand characterized the accusations as a “coordinated attack.”
