Proud Boys chapter leader Ethan Nordean has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for his involvement in the US Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, Al Jazeera reports.
Nordean was the chapter president for the Seattle Branch of the Proud Boys and was convicted of seditious conspiracy and other charges.
Prosecutors described him as the primary leader on the ground, leading around 200 supporters during the attack.
