This incident occurred during an appearance in Covington, Kentucky, and was captured in a video posted on social media.
McConnell eventually said “OK” but didn’t respond to the question, raising concerns about his ability to continue in office.
McConnell previously froze for about 20 seconds during a news conference in July, before being escorted off.
