Six Killed in Helicopter Crash Near Mount Everest in Nepal

A helicopter carrying six people crashed near Mount Everest in Nepal, resulting in the death of all on board, AP News reports.

The victims included five tourists from Mexico, who were part of the same family, and the Nepalese pilot.

The helicopter was returning to Kathmandu from a sightseeing trip to Mount Everest when the accident occurred.

The cause of the crash remains unclear, although weather conditions had necessitated a change in the helicopter’s planned flight route.
