Meta’s new messaging app called Threads gained 10 million sign-ups within seven hours of its launch, according to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, BBC reports.
Threads allows users to post short messages, similar to Twitter, and share links, photos, and videos up to five minutes long.
The app is linked to Instagram, allowing users to log in with their Instagram accounts and follow the same accounts they do.
Threads is available in over 100 countries, but the app has not yet launched in the EU due to regulatory concerns.
