Hunter Biden to Plead Guilty to Federal Tax Crimes and Gun Charge

Hunter Biden, son of US President Joe Biden, has agreed to plead guilty to two federal criminal tax charges, CNBC reports.

Hunter is accused of failing to pay income tax for 2017 and 2018 despite having taxable income exceeding $1.5 million each year.

David Weiss, US Attorney for Delaware appointed by then-President Donald Trump, is recommending a sentence of probation for the tax crimes.

Hunter also agreed to a pretrial diversion agreement for a federal felony charge related to possession of a firearm as a drug user.
