Former President Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty to 37 federal criminal counts accusing him of illegally retaining classified documents, AP News reports.
The indictment accuses Trump of illegally retaining national security documents at his Mar-a-Lago home after leaving office in January 2021.
He allegedly illegally stored classified documents in his bedroom, bathroom, shower, and other locations and refused government demands to return it.
