On Wednesday, smoke from Canadian wildfires poured into the US East Coast turning the sky red in New York, AP News reports.
Canada is experiencing one of its worst wildfire seasons ever with over 400 wildfires nationwide and around 100 fires out of control in Quebec.
Canada has requested aid to fight the disaster that has displaced 20,000 people, disrupted airports and raised air pollution to hazardous levels.
