The global smartphone market fell by 13% in the first quarter of this year, its fifth consecutive quarter of decline, 9 to 5 Mac reports.
The number of smartphone shipments decreased overall by 8% to 22% among major brands like Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo.
However, Apple defied the trend and its iPhone shipments increased by 3%.
