On Tuesday, former US President Donald Trump appeared in court after being indicted on 34 counts by a New York grand jury, reports AP News.
Prosecutors said the crimes revolve around payments to three people that could have harmed his candidacy during the 2016 presidential election.
Trump allegedly had an affair with Stormy Daniels, a relationship with a fashion model and a child out of wedlock according to a former employee.
Trump later returned to his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida and addressed his supporters, calling the investigation against him to be politically motivated.
