38 people have died after a fire broke out at an immigration detention facility in Ciudad Juarez, near the border between Mexico and the US, reports AP News.
Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said the fire was started by migrants after they learned they would be deported.
Surveillance footage shows how the guards made no attempt to release the men and quickly walked away from the scene.
