Austria Finds All Missing People Alive after Avalanche

A search and rescue operation has been suspended after all unaccounted people turned up following an avalanche in the Lech Zuers skiing area, Austria, according to the Austrian Press Agency.

On Sunday, an avalanche occured on the 2,700-metre high Trittkopf mountain believed to have buried 10 people based on a skier’s video footage.

Around 200 rescue workers searced the avalanche site, rescuing four injured people. The remainder had managed to safely descend the valley and later contacted authorities.
