On Wednesday, German police arrested 25 suspected members of a “domestic terrorist organization” planning to overthrow the German state and install a new government.

The nationwide raid hit 130 properties in 11 German states, with one arrest in Austria and one in Italy. 24 arrested suspects are from Germany and one from Russia.
Suspected ringleaders are 71-year-old Heinrich XIII P. R. a member of a minor German noble family and 69-year-old Ruediger v. P., a former paratrooper.
In November 2021, a group influenced by “Reichsbürger,” QAnon ideology and the “deep state,” formed around P. R. and planned to install him as the new leader of Germany.
Prosecutors suspect the group had made contact with Russian officials of their plan to establish a new order, the Russian embassy denied having links to the group.
