Canada Stabbing Attacks Kills 10, Wounds 15 in the Indigenous Community in Saskatchewan

On Sunday, two suspects went on a stabbing spree that killed 10 people and injured 15 in and around an Indigenous community in central Canada.
"It is horrific what has happened in our province today. It appears that some of the victims may have been targeted, and some may be random. So to speak to a motive would be extremely difficult at this point in time."

- Rhonda Blackmore, Royal Canadian Mounted Police Assistant Commissioner
The rampage took place in the Indigenous community of James Smith Cree Nation and the nearby town of Weldon in Saskatchewan province.

Police say they are searching for two suspects, in their early 30s, last seen traveling in a black Nissan Rogue, 320km south of the location of the incident.

Police in Saskatchewan issued a province-wide dangerous persons alert, with officials in neighboring Alberta and Manitoba later following suit.
A statement by Indigenous leaders indicated the attacks may have been drug related.
