Four US police officers have been arrested and charged over the fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor in 2020.
The hospital worker, 26, was killed in her home in Louisville, Kentucky, by plainclothes police performing a "no-knock" search warrant.
Earlier this year, former Louisville detective Brett Hankinson, one of the officers involved in the raid, but the only officer charged, was acquitted by a jury.
Now, the Attorney General Merrick Garland has announced new charges, including civil rights offenses, unlawful conspiracy, unconstitutional use of force and obstruction.
The four officers to face the new charges are former officer Brett Hankinson and Joshua Jaynes, and serving officers Kelly Hanna Goodlett and Kyle Meany.
In 2020, the Taylor family sued Louisville police and reached a $12m settlement.
