Grand Theft Auto 6 will include a female "Latina" protagonist, "one of a pair of leading characters in a story influenced by bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde," according to Bloomberg.
The report does not specify the gender of the partner and whether or not this second character will also be playable.
GTA 6, code named 'Project Americas' has been in development since 2014 and would originally take place in North and South America.
It has since limited its scope down to "a fictional version of Miami and its surrounding areas."
When the game is released, Rockstar plan to "continually update the game over time, adding new missions and cities on a regular basis."
