On Thursday, US president Joe Biden tested positive for Covid-19 and is experiencing "very mild symptoms."The 79-year-old president is fully vaccinated and has previously received two Covid booster shots of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid vaccine.
Biden has started taking Paxlovid, an antiviral medication that reduce the risk of hospitalization for people who test positive for Covid.The president will work in isolation until he tests negative for the virus, Jean-Pierre said.
